Playing Catch Up

Wow where has the time gone...summer has flown by for us. Having two little ones creates so much fun that the days are gone as soon as we wake up it seems. But, we have had a wonderful summer back here in the Boise area. We get to see Grammie at least once a week and usually multiple times....I can't tell you how wonderful this is. We have floated the river a couple times. We have taken a few trips up to my dad and Kim's cabin where we ate lots of food, jet skied, 4-wheeled, and played in the wilderness. We have spent time with family and friends, played frisbee golf and mini golf, visited the park, swam, rode bikes, etc. Mike and I have also gotten some time away together, which has been so wonderful! We have also spent a lot of time out in our yard. We put in 3 new flower beds and a number of fun new plants. It is so nice to be back in our home and close to our family and friends.

We spent the 4th of July with my mom. We went on a bike ride, stopped at the park for a picnic, and then went to my mom's and lit off fireworks. Here is Jax playing in the Boise River taking a break from the bike cart.

We stopped at the nature center and looked at all the big fish. Jaxon loved it!

Here is one of our trips to the cabin. We failed to get any pictures other than Jaxon getting to ride on the "tractor" with Grandpa. In case you are wondering what is wrong with his face...we went jet-skiing the day prior and we missed a few spots with the sunscreen. Oops Here is Xander sitting with Michael on the swing. I loved his little smile. He was enjoying watching Jax and Grandpa on the tractor.

Here is Xander and Aunt Rebekah. We went and visited Nana and Papa and Aunts and Uncles for Papa's birthday. We had yummy dinner and spent time hanging out together.
