Carving into Autumn

It was a night full of painting, carving, eating, and roasting. Jaxon and Xander painted pumpkins while Michael and I carved pumpkins. We ate carmel apples and then roasted pumpkin seeds. It was so much fun. Jaxon went right to town on painting his pumpkin and loved it. He used every paintbrush and color there was and made quite the creation. We let Xander use his hands to paint his pumpkin. He liked the paint on his hands, but didn't know what to do with it after that. So, with a little assistance from mom he got it done. Both boys were so proud of themselves. Michael and I bought a carving kit for the first time this year, which is why our pumpkins actually look like something. We really enjoyed carving our creations. And the carmel apples were great too.
Here is Xander playing with the paint. As you can see he ended up with a lot on him.
Here is our little artist. He was very into it. Love it!! Here is Xander's creation. So fun!
A few minutes later....still very into it.
Here is Jaxon helping daddy take out all the "pumpkin guts."
The final products....Michael's, Jaxon's, Xander's, and Mine Jaxon enjoying our homemade carmel apples. Yummy!!!
