A Spooktacular Night

I was so sad because Halloween snuck up on me and as a result I didn't really plan anything exciting for the fun silly day. But, everything all worked out and the kids had fun. With Xander's surgery and the yucky swine flu we all had, I didn't think of costumes until Wednesday (yes 4 days before Halloween). So, I had to overnight Jaxon's frog costume and just have Xander wear Jaxon's lion costume from last year. But, they both looked so cute in them. Michael's work always has a little party and trick or treat thing so we got to go to that on Friday. Jaxon liked going to daddy's work and seeing all the other costumes. He was a little shy in the beginning, but warmed up to it when he realized the candy factor. For Halloween our church usually does a big fall festival, but it was cancelled this year. So we went to our friend's church in Boise and enjoyed their Fall Festival instead. They had 3 different jump houses, lots of games, and a fun trunk or treat. It was great and the kids loved it!

Jaxon was telling me about the jump house. Love the expression as it is so Jaxon!
