My sister-in-law, Rebekah, took these pictures this past weekend and I thought they were great.

Date Weekend!!!

Michael and I were so blessed 2 weekends ago to be kid free and enjoy some time together. We took the kids to Twin Falls to stay with Papa and Jumpy on Thursday night. They had a blast and were very well cared for. Michael and I hoped to get some rest and relaxation, but that didn't happen as we tried to get everything done that we can't do with kids!!! We had so much fun though. On Friday night we had Michael's work party at the Stueckle Sky Center (the new BSU sky box). We had wonderful prime rib and an amazing view of the city. It was fun to get dressed up and just hang out together. Here is a picture...
Saturday morning we woke up early and shopped all day to get all of our Christmas shopping done. It was a snowy yucky mess, but we had so much fun. It's amazing how much you can get done when you aren't having to break for diaper changes, car seat exchanges, food and juice fillings, etc. We actually got it almost all done in just that one day. That night we had my Christmas party at Le Coq Rouge, a french restuarant here in Boise. It was amazing food and entertainment. They served a 4 course meal and had a Frank Sinatra singer (he actually sang a number of other artists too, but reminded me primarily of Frank Sinatra). We sang and danced all night. It was a blast. Here is another picture of us all dressed up.
Sunday we woke up early and headed to Twin Falls to celebrate Michael's brother, Ben's, 17th birthday. We had an amazing duck dinner at a restaurant there in Twin. We then went and picked up our boys from my parents. It's so funny how excited you get to have a break, but how much more excited you are to pick them up. I missed my babies!! We then went and enjoyed cake and ice cream with Micheal's family continuing the birthday celebration. It was great cake and fun to see everyone.

Thanksgiving 2009 (A little late)

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving this year! We have so many things to be thankful for and we truly are grateful for all of them. One thing we are so thankful for is our family. They are all so amazing and we enjoyed the time we were able to share with (most of) them on Thanksgiving (we missed the few of you that weren't able to come). Michael and I fixed a yummy breakfast of homemade cinnamon rolls, eggs, and bacon for my dad and Kimmie. My mom and Kim's dad came over a little later and we watch football, talked, cooked, and ate yummy salmon appetizers (salmon caught by mom). The 8 of us then enjoyed a huge meal. It was absolutely amazing. Mike barbecued the turkey and it was done to prefect ion!!!! Great job babe! After our meal and clean up, Mike's family came over and had dessert with us. The males of the group went outside and had a "turkey bowl" while us females chatted. It was so much fun! Thanks everyone for driving up!!
Mike, Jaxon, and I getting breakfast for Papa and Jumpy (also known as dad and Kim) Kimmie was so helpful and had amazing dishes. Michael's bird was seriously the best I've ever had!!! Doesn't it look pretty?
Kim's dad and Jaxon playing "knock-out" with the M&M guys! My Daddy-O just relaxing watching football. He was great at taking care of the boys while we cooked!
My mom and Xander. She was also helpful with taking care of the boys and helping in the kitchen!
The big "turkey bowl." I didn't get all the guys, but here are some. I love Jaxon....he really did participate and actually came in with bloody knuckles. He is so all or nothing!

Pandemonium

Life at our house is crazy these days! Our boys are non stop action! I have been able to take a few pictures so I can laugh at them after the fact. These were just too cute to not post.
Xander's new past time...taking everything out of my cupboards!

Xander loves to pester his brother by stealing his blankets.

Jaxon pushing Xander aroung the house on his airplane. It is mayhem! Jaxon needed to have his work goggles and ear guards on to be able to play with his tools.
